: : No Security or Stripped?

"Stripped" - no contest..it was actually a live album with some fresh ideas put into it,took some commercial risks in its content and had excellent performances throughout...only 'get yer Ya yas out' beats it as best stones live album..but then ya-ya's beats the shit out of practically any live album by anyone...

"No Security" whilst its an enjoyable enough album to listen to...is simply a cash-in no matter what way they try to disguise by saying 'we havent done these songs on any live album in the last 20 years'- the fact that Mick even admitted in an interview last summer that he hadnt listened to it since it was finished speaks volumes -

The poor sales for it,even for a band who had been seen by millions of fans on the same tour shows that by releasing live albums from each of their last FIVE world tours on this occasion they had overestimated their appeal

Nice album but two words spring to mind every time i hear it - contractual obligation..it should have been retitled 'Milking It'
