The exception being the rock n roll oldies shows that tour now days. Pathetic.

Those acts come from a very different era, where most acts only had one or two songs become famous before they faded away. The people going to see Freddie Cannon and Frankie Ford are having a great time doing it, so I don't see anything wrong with that. The acts with no original members should have to bill themselves like classsic rock "tribute" bands though, and let people know up front that they are NOT the original artists.
