: Tell me if I'm on target here. There are people (this may be more applicable in New York City) who are in the camp of:
: The Beatles over the Stones
: Frank Sinatra over Dean Martin
Frank sucked. He hated rock music and put it down big time when it first came out. Then when he grew old and useless, he used rockers on one of his last albums just to cash in on their names. The rockers who helped him should have told him where to go. Dino of cause made fun of the Stones cause of their long hair. But back in the sixties everyone over 30 made fun of those males who had grew their hair long.
: The Yankees over The Mets
I always hated the Yanks but I don't care for the Mets either. But I would have gone with Mets if they had won last nite.
: I believe the opposite is true in all of the above cases. In a weird sort of way it I guess it is like routing for the underdogs. Anyway, if Keith Richards is a baseball fan, he's routing for the Mets tonight...
From what I recall, Keith is not into sports, not baseball anyway.
