: : Tell me if I'm on target here. There are people (this may be more applicable in New York City) who are in the camp of:

: : The Beatles over the Stones

: : Frank Sinatra over Dean Martin

: : The Yankees over The Mets

: : I believe the opposite is true in all of the above cases. In a weird sort of way it I guess it is like routing for the underdogs. Anyway, if Keith Richards is a baseball fan, he's routing for the Mets tonight...

: I refuse to pick between the Stones or the Beatles because it's like comparing apples to oranges. One is a Pop band, the other is a Rock band. Two different things. As for Frankie and Dino, who cares they're dead. Yankees vs Mets?! Don't get me started. Yankees, Braves, Mets...are exactly what's wrong with baseball. The rich just buy pennants, everyone else just wishes they had as much money to spend so they could buy a nice trophy too.

Agreed, agreed. Maybe it's just because I'm a frustrated Cubs fan. We spend the money but never get a good return. As far as music, I like it or I don't; it's no tournament. BTW, How many times has a team walked in the winning run after walking the bases loaded? Go home Mets.
