Both John Hammond Jr. and Mark Ribot were guest guitarists along with Smokey Hormel. Canned Heat's Larry Taylor played upright bass, and Greg Cohen guested on bass - during "Heart Attack & Vine" he had TWO upright basses and three guitars going. "Don't you know there ain't no devil - that's just God when he's drunk."
It was incredible even without Keith. But meeting my hero in the middle of the show made it seem positively unreal.
