: "Jumping Jack Flash". It brought the world out of the lame-ass psychedelica of the 60's and back to blues based rock and roll. It was an anthem, and solidified the Stones as the premiere rock band in the world. While the Beatles strayed from Rock, with varied results (some simply awful), the Stones took the lead and wrote a song that would forever change the face of music. I see "JJ Flash" as a pre-cursor for all hard rock and heavy metal. It set the stage for Zeppelin and the Who and later bands like Guns and Roses. This song has been covered by so many hard rock bands over the years, and for good reason. No wonder why it's Keith's favorite Stones song...


I think the most important song ever written was
Stairway to Heaven...I mean, its the most requested song of all time, thats gotta be worth something.
