The different bassists on B2B was idiotic. You experiment with the people playing the melodic lines (saxophonists, for example), not the rhythm section. Only someone with his head in the clouds of "pop" could assert that using different bassists on B2B was "understandable." It was a mistake and a joke; it made the record a laughing stock.
Second, of course Jimmy got his picks, plus a bootleg tape, and I got a CD pressing of "Handsome Girls."
Last, I guarantee my job is far more interesting and rewarding in every way than yours. Nice try, though. Could help remedy your feelings of comparative inadequacy, intellectual and otherwise.
