I had no idea this many souls were so lost. My job is daunting, but I think I can save them, don't you?
First off, kiddies - Exile on Main St. is mankind's crowning achievement. Everything good, bad, ugly and beautiful about being a human bean is contained in Exile's beautiful black and white little heart.
That being said, there is NO FILLER on this abum. QUIT SKIPPING TRACKS RIGHT NOW!
I don't want to have to come over there and beat any of you stupid with second pressing of Exile, but I will if I have to. Tough love ain't easy, but we're talking about your fucking SOUL here, and it's obvious a few of you need saving, lest you rot and burn in the hell of classic rock radio for all eternity (that's a classic rock radio with NO ROLLING STONES - that's HELL. Boston, Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd - it's gonna SUCK FOR ALL ETERNITY if you don't get it right).
Now, Virgin's remaster of Exile is perfecly acceptable, and very nice. Mickboy's remaster is better, but some of your complaints are actually some of the best things about Exile, people. "I can't hear Mick." Tough shit. That's not important. "Keith should be over here." Tough shit, that's not important.
What IS important is that Exile on Main St. is all about emotion, feeling and reality (the good kind of reality, sometimes it's the kind of reality that may or may not be really real). This is not some pristine Pink Floyd album. Exile on Main St. comes from dark, scary, lonely, very ancient places. It is perfection, which is only enhanced by its flaws, thus making it even more perfect.
Now, please - stop skipping songs. Jesus Christ, what the hell did they put that button on the cd players for, anyway?
