Like I said "arguably". There is an argument. You're comparing him to arguably two of the top guitarists of all time. As a matter of fact, I only like 3 Santana songs. Not a huge fan. But recognize his talent. Listen to more of Eddie's solos. He's a genius. Listen to say,...Finish What You Started, and Ain't Talkin Bout Love , just off the top of my head. BTW Eddie created the riff on keyboard to Jump. Very catchy and one of the best of all time still gets an arena pumped up till this day at sporting events. Just worked out to it while pumping up my scrawny little arms. Not many people would characterize EVH as tone deaf.
