Heard Giles Martin on NPR’s podcast ‘All Things Consodered,’. He was talking about the 50th Anniversary release of The White Album. I was captivated. They mentioned an episode with Giles about last years Sgt Pepper release...they played the original, and the 2009 remasters and compared it with the 2017 version. I’m no audiophile, but the differences were evident and remarkable. Everything on Sgt Pepper is just brighter, richer, more vibrant.

Haven’t been able to pull the trigger on The White Album, the price tag is a bit steep $70 or $150...been listening to it on Spotify and the 50 plus bonus tracks on the Super Deluxe version are

Equally enthralling. Been a joy to listen and rediscover these recordings.
