Well, I don't know exactly when the photos for the 2 LPs were taken, but while the 2 LPs were released just 4 months apart in '70, LIB was actually recorded in 1968, as its release was held up, so his hair had 2 years to grow from between when the photos on the 2 LPs were taken. I could see that for sure, but then again it depends on the person, too
Then, how old was he back then, in his mid to late 20s, right? In all people, the younger you are, the faster your hair grows. I've seen that in myself, as when I was a kid my hair grew like crazy. Today my hair is about as long as it was back when I was in my teens and 20s, and back then I would get a haircut once a year on average. Yet today, it's been about 10 or 11 years since the last haircut that my wife gave me, and again it's no longer now than it was after a year of not getting it cut back in my younger days. So no, my hair don't grow too much anymore in my older age, and I guess I'm lucky that it hasn't fallen out, either.
