RE: : RE: RE: RE: Missing word!

See, it worked that time using the same word!

I at first had to see what word you meant in your first post, so I went into the admin and see what happened... yes, that word is still there in the admin, but no, it ain't showing online at all. The reason being, is that you placed brackets between the word - and this ASP board read that as HTML code for opening and closing brackets! Kinda like when we set links here - we tell the board to open up a clickable link using opening and closing brackets. But in this case, you placed those brackets on each end of the word, and in HTML, you just told the board to not to show the word! It works the same way as the HTML code that commands that a sentence or image is not to be shown when using the combo code of dots (...) plus a experimentation point (!). It's like the image that I use to show the Xmas lights here on top of the board, that code is up year round on the board, but you only see the lights come the day of the winter solstice, because I use that same code to not show it for the rest of the year... So yes, the holiday lights are actually up year round here, you just can't see them, as I have to turn them on by using that code! But by doing that in that way, I don't have to keep adding in the entire code all the time, just the dots and ! point.... But anyway, yep, something that simple like you placing in a HTML code and not realizing it, did that to your one word and that's why it didn't show - you told the board not to show the word without even realizing it! I guess that calls for a LOL, Ronnie!
