RE: "Baby It's Cold Outside" (No Xmas Content)

This BS all got re-started 2 years ago by Trump and his ridiculous comments that there was some kind of "war" going on against Xmas. There is no such war and there's never been one! Yes, there's always one or 2 persons here and there who comes up with insane comments on both sides of this, but the sane always win out in the end.

This year you might have heard of that one crazy principal in the Midwest - who banned candy canes, claiming they are all about Jesus! On really? She stated that they were shaped like a "J" for Jesus, and the red stripes in there was for "the blood Christ" - shed by him on the cross, while the white was for the pureness you get believing in Christ! How crazy is that shit? Somebody should tell that nut that they are shaped that way so they don't fall off the Xmas tree - and that's why they are called "canes", since they are shaped like canes! Anyway, that nut lost her job over this.

But on the other side of the "stupid" coin, we get the morons who don't even know why we have Xmas trees in the first place and where they came from. They come not from Xtains, but from pagans who started to celebrate the winter solstice by decorating their trees and then placed candles on them - since that day marked the beginning of more light each day (a big deal before there was electricity) and the coming of the new year. Yes, the Xmas tree was at first called a "Solstice Tree".... Or how about those who say "Put Christ back in Xmas"? These jerks don't even realise or know that "X" is the mark of Christ? It comes from the New Testament of all places. In Greek, the word Christos (Christ) begins with the letter "X," or chi (i.e. Χριστός).

BTW, since I noted above about "the blood of Christ" and "Christos", the beautiful Rocky Mountains that I live in, well, the name of the mountain subrange that I live in is called "The Sangre de Cristo Mountains", or, you guessed it, "the blood of Christ". A stupid name for such beautiful mountains, well, maybe not looking at the name in Spanish, but just what it means in English. Yet I don't lose sleep over it, either. Almost everything named around here is either in Spanish, or in one of the Native American languages. The county I live in is called "Saguache" - a Indian name that I know you can't pronoun right on your first try (it don't sound anything like it's spelled). Heck, the people around here can't even decide what the word even means, as I've seen 3 different meanings to what it means. I actually wrote a newspaper article on this about 10 years ago, so I do know what it actually means.

One last note, since you asked about the song. I hadn't heard of this song before last week when this nonsense came about on the national TV news. Thanks for posting the lyrics (never seen them before), and now I can see that the song has absolutely nothing to do with rape - or Xmas! Just how the hell is that a Xmas song? It's about what the title says it is, that it's cold outside - big deal! It's not a Xmas song, or a rape song, Ronnie!
