Keith may have been one of the best, yes, but no, he don't play anything like MT played, and he would be the first one to tell you that. There were/are some things he has done - like how he plays his guitar live to sound just like Brian Jones' sitar on "Paint it Black". But playing that special blues guitar and getting that sound in the same way MT plays, Keith has never once done that. Since you mention the great Jimmy Page - he also can't play guitar like MT plays. Ronnie either, nor could Brian, and that's not a knock at any of them, it's just something very special about Taylor's playing, that's all.
