Throughout the seventies, (well, from 1972 & up) every time a Beatle released an album, I felt compelled to buy it and right away. But I couldn't buy albums before '72 so it did take me a while to get to buying Paul's first one. I don't remember buying John's first though, maybe it wasn't available? I don't remember.

But when it came to The Beatles I had to be a completionist. Hey it's The Beatles! But that kind of thinking faded in the 80s.
