Thank you so much Gomper. I'll come clean about my above post:
Scroll down just a couple of threads, the one Fatmo started about ABB & GHS ~~ which is better. Okay so Keno made a post there reminding us (and asked us) to submit some album reviews, ending his message with So go ahead Gassers and lurkers - prove me wrong this time and send in a review or 3!
I always felt bad about not ever writing an album review. Why didn't I ever write one? I have trouble articulating my thoughts and feelings, meanwhile I've read so many posts here where Gassers express themselves so well. For example, I've played EOMS a billion times. I know it inside and out and sideways too!! Its had a huge impact on my life. Meanwhile, with the advent of the internet and the subsequent Gas x 3 message board, I've read many many comments on that masterpiece here on this board over the years, and the way these posters here describe that album, the way they share their thoughts and ideas and arguments so clearly and elegantly, It overwhelmed me knowing I can't do that.
Well, this morning I said to myself, I said "Self, why don't you try writing an album review and submitting it for posting considerations on the album reviews page." My head kept flashing "Black and Blue"....
So I started preparing a "Black & Blue" review, then I saw I spent an inordinate amount of time on the first song alone (my above post). I still had 7 songs to go. Plus, I then checked the Stones fan album reviews page, and B&B already has the maximum 20 reviews allowed.
So I decided to use what I wrote as a new thread here about those two songs.
And the rest is history.
