Time travel ... in all seriousness... I do not know. The classic reply to the question of time travel is always "why are there no tourists from the future dropping in?"

But again, the true answer as to whether we could ever do this is unknown. I do not think it is impossible that humanity - in the far, far, far future - might develop technologies that would allow them to abrogate the laws of physics as we understand them now. However, that still does not answer the aforementioned question about visitors from the future. But perhaps the answer is that we are on one, linear path of time and we have yet to achieve this technology, and that the future does not exist until we get there.

Now to return to something more fanciful, I've often wondered what it would be like if you would travel through time. See your childhood again, or see the future. The future would be very scary as we would certainly see things we would not wish to see.
