Holy cow, it so happens I had been listening to that Chumbawamba quite a bit! 👌
Anyway, thanks for those recommendations. Goat, and Devotchka especially sound interesting to me, I can't wait to check them out! Looks like my plate will be full for a while.
You know what I really get in the mood for once in a while? --- Something soulful, jazzy, maybe funky, with horns and guitars, guitar solos are very important. ~~~ Think "Vehicle Man" by IDES OF MARCH, horns and a guitar solo! Picture "25 Or 6 To 4" by CHICAGO, horns and a dynamite guitar! And of course "All Down the Line" by our boys.
Can anyone recommend groups that play great, lively music like that? Guitar solos are very important.
Meanwhile, I'll get busy with this other stuff, while the Red Sox/Yankee game is on --with the volume off.
