Exactly, and that's why I'm re-rating them yet again.
The thing is they just keep getting higher ratings when I do, the older I get the more I love their old work. I guess when you hear something new and you're... say, 20, it's great to hear... but when you're in your mid 60s and you hear it, well not only does it still sound great, but the old stuff has great memories attached to it all which weren't there back 40, or 60 years ago. So perhaps that's why it sounds even better in your old age?
But if it wasn't really that good years ago yet back then you liked it anyway, but now it does't sound as good today, then we say that the music is dated. But clearly, nothing the Stones ever put out in the '60s and '70s sounds dated today!
