That was one of those days when you remember exactly where you were when you heard the news. For me it was just a regular Tuesday afternoon, and I was at my Union's Branch Office to attend a regular Shop Stewards Committee meeting. The meeting ended, and as I was passing the Branch Secretary's office I noticed there were lots of people in there watching television. I went in and saw that both Towers had been hit. I remember our Convener saying 'somebody will pay for this'. I guess one way or another we have all paid for that grotesque criminal act.
