I have THOUSANDS of CDs. HUNDREDS of LPs. Even a few tapes. And a growing digital collection.
Who would I give it to? Maybe to family or to a charity for sale. I have a vast classical collection which I love. Many of my CDs are hard to find now. Replacing this collection would cost a ton of money and would take a long time if not be impossible. A record store, like the one near me, would give you 50 CENTS per CD, LP. So that would almost be an insult. Whereas selling CDs and LPs on eBay can make you a lot of money if its done right. There are people who will pay top dollar for stuff they can't find in new or used retail stores.
