buying vinyl and cd,,,ssc

I think i have all the great releases on vinyl i need and now im getting the last few cds id like before the cd is officially phased out,its sad??!!I just bought mccartney 2 on cd but i bought the vinyl and owned it since it came out.I never really cared to have this one on a cd but i just plunked the cash down as i believe cds are going the same route as beta max tapes,tough for us long time collectors to digest.Im hoping all future stones releases will at least briefly appear on cds or maybe vinyl?
