You should get a kick out of this list here, from a early Rock poll we did back in '08: One Hit only Poll
I always found the top pick interesting, since the lead guitarist and singer from Ram Jam, Bill Bartlett, was actually in 2 different one hit bands, and both made the poll's final Top 10 list, with the other one hit only band he was in being The Lemon Pipers. Bartlett is the only rock musician to be able to say that he was in more than one, one hit band! I don't know if that was a good thing or not, but those 2 songs were both excellent, indeed.
It's funny that I never listed Tiny Tim in that poll list to be voted on! If anybody was a one hit wonder, or just a wonder in general, it was he!
