Anyway, how about the Easybeats. They were the Beatles of Australia!
In 1966 they had a big worldwide hit with Friday on my Mind, which reached the states here in the Spring of '67.
That song 'moved' me like you wouldn't believe.
George Young was the rhythm guitarist, the older brother of Malcolm and Angus Young.
