Been at "work" for the last hour or so checking out a few of the last videos that I'll run in the last weeks of the Stones poll, since I'll more than likely close out that poll with Stones videos, and now I'm wishing I had run more of these video questions earlier, when we could have voted on more of them, since there really are a bunch out there if you star to dig deep. Anyway, I ran into the cover song that showed up on their second UK and U.S. LPs, "Susie Q", which they played on the "Shindig!" TV show in Jan of '65. I had to have see this at the time, since I did watched this show back then and I never missed when the Stones were on TV in those days (or really ever), yet I don't recall this clip at all. I guess tonight was the first time I saw this in 53 years, so it makes sense I can't remember it, as most folks won't recall things that they may have seen once so long ago on the tube while just a child. But I'm sure I enjoyed it as much back then as seeing it tonight.
