I really liked Blue & Lonseome but its kind of in a different category for me, given that it had no original work. Its got awesome playing and it was - and is - a real treat for fans. If I were writing a review for B&L it would be a very, very positive one.
But IORR has a special place in my heart. (yes, I know that's a very corny sentence) but it really does. First, it contains a few absolute classics. Second, the band, and specifically M. Taylor is awesome. Its also an album that I listened to constantly when my wife and I were first dating. That pretty much seals the deal for me.
