That is true about Mick, wonder why? Most of the others have different voices today and aren't worth seeing for that reason. They were talking about Elton John yesterday on the local TV news and said that his farewell tour in Denver sold out so fast that they were adding 2 more shows and tickets were going on sale in 2 days for it. Jackie said to me, we should go, and I told her, he doesn't sound the same today anymore when he sings. He still sounds okay, but he doesn't sound like the Elton John of yesterday, who I've got to see live several times in the '70s when he sounded great. I also bet that he doesn't jump up and down while playing like he used to, yet it cost much more money today to see him, especially since for us, it means getting a hotel room in Denver, either that or driving home 7 plus hours in the dark, plus the shows aren't till next winter and who knows how snowy the mountain passes will be, etc. But to me, his voice today is the main reason not to go, and the same deal holds for most singers past 65 it seems. But not Jagger I guess.
