more famious than the stones

Just curious about what celebrities dead or alive you guys think are more famious in the world these days than the rolling stones as a group or than say jagger and richards.I wonder if there are any countries the guys could go without ever being recognised?Maybe afew in africa or the middle east?This kind of fame is mind boggling and the beatles did not ever need a web site or the internet to aquire such fame,pehaps the stones never did either?The great thing about youtube is we can all recall more clearly how things and people looked and acted decades ago.But there are afew storied acts and celebs that never needed it the world wide web to aquire gigantic fame,while the majority of course probably needed it.
