Ahhh, record stores. Do you remember them?

Do you guys recall the 70s, 80s, and into the 90s when record stores thrived.. when they were, as they say nowadays, "a thing"?

I loved heading down to check out the various record stores in my town (all in the downtown area), perusing LPs, tapes, CDs.

There were a bunch of really good stores then. But over time, one by one, they all closes. There were a couple of chain record stores in the Malls, all over-priced, and just mot the same.

Now in my area here's what you have:

2 used record stores that are not all that great

1 chain store in a mall that has gone to the messy format of selling music, DVDs, and tons of things like posters, figurines, coffee mugs, and all that garbage
