Weird you bring up this topic. I usually sleep without incident but have on occasion jerked my self awake. this past week I dreamt I was involved in a dodge ball game. I dove out of the chair I dozed off in! Tile floor. Lucky I didn't hurt myself.

I wouldn't be so quick to go the mothers little helper route if I were you. Or any other sedative/sleep drug for that matter. I can't think of one that is not addictive.
