RE: Jiving Sister Fanny

"Jiving Sister Fanny", depending on when you got the album, had 2 different versions to it along with different lyrics. It was a riff that Taylor had written before he was in the band, and early on when the Stones asked him if he had any of his own music to share, this was one of 2 riffs he had ("I'm Going Down" the other). Jagger added in the lyrics to the song as they went along playing it in the studio, and that's why it had different lyrics for the 2 takes of it that made it on to the LP. Another song on Meta that really wasn't finished, and too bad, since it was excellent.

It was my second choice in the poll, but I had to go with Bill's "Downtown Suzie", which was one of the few songs on this LP that was actually finished, and the best thing Bill ever wrote - perhaps. Recorded in early 1968, it should had been on BB for sure!
