Loved HERB ALPERT AND THE TIJUANA BRASS. "A Taste of Honey", then "Zorba the Greek" were huge hits here in NY in 1965, but my favorite from them is from 1967 "Casino Royale".

My public school burned down (4/12/67, 5th grade, 4-alarm fire!) and when I eventually went home, I turned on the radio, WMCA, for some solace. I was shaking, and a brand new single by HAATTB came on, Casino Royal. Loved it. Every time I hear it, thoughts of that day are evoked.

They sold many many albums.
