RE: RE: RE: RE: No more Rolling Stones

I had work on the computer to do tonight, started around 800pm and just finished it all about 20 minutes ago, so I went almost 6 full hours with no real break. Just wanted to get the work done, as a little extra income to supplement my Social Security is nice to have. But during the entire time I had on the Stones playing, listening to them on Youtube, and at first it was a lot of real old stuff, but deep track old stuff, and I sure didn't program this, so I was impressed with the Youtube programing. Then after that the live LP On the Air started. But I had just heard that last week and although it was real good, I'm not crazy for repeated recorded live music playing. So once was enough for now. Now on the right side of the Youtube page, as most of you know, are suggested video links. So I saw one for the entire Exile LP, and played it. Damn, that double LP keeps sounding better everytime I hear it. I always loved half of it, but as I have said since its release, and I have said here for years, is that it's overrated and has a lot of filler tunes on it and should have just been one album instead of two. Of course I took a ton of heat here for saying that. Yet for the last several years, the LP keeps sounding better and better to me. So it took me about 40 or so years to finally get some of the songs on the LP that I didn't care for. There's still a couple on there that I still don't like, but that's it now. But boy did I enjoy listening to that LP tonight!

But now in this thread we're asked, what if we can't ever again listen to Stones, what 2 artists would we listen to instead? Gosh, I don't think I could go the rest of my life without listening to the Stones, I'd go nuts! But no question, number 2 replacement won't even be a replacement, as I play the Beatles as much and as often as I play the Stones. They are a one 2 punch for me. So lots of Beatles for sure, but who's next? Not the Who, but they be maybe in my top 5. So I guess that the long gone Alice Cooper band, my third favorite band, more than likely would be my second choice.
