And that's the problem Manny! We should not live in such a time where there are so many shootings! Are there that many shootings in Europe? No, there aren't. Only here in the gun happy U.S.A.. I have noted here before that I'm a gun owner myself, but I no longer fire my guns anymore because of the arthritis in my hands. But where most of us gun owners are responsible, the few that aren't are why we need major gun control in this country, and we need it now! Nobody needs a automatic weapon - nobody! That is what is used almost all the time in these killings. Plus the age limit should be raised for buying guns. You have to be 21 to drink, why not be 21 to buy a gun? Okay, 21 is too old, but 18 is too young. We should have the legal age to drink, buy guns, vote, join the military, etc, at 20. Yes, perhaps most kids are old enough to use a gun around 17 or so, but not old enough to buy one. Plus if you can join the military at 18 and die for your country at that age, then why can't you drink at 18? So instead of having 2 different ages where kids come of legal age, that being 18 and 21, let's have one age only, and I say 20 is the right age for all that. But no, 17 year olds should not be treated like 13 years olds, either. There should also be a middle ground, say between 15 and 19, where you do get some legal rights, just not 100% of the adult legal rights. If you committed a crime at 16, you should not be treated like a 10 year old would be, but you also shouldn't be treated like a 21 years old would be, either. There should be some kind of middle ground, as kids in their late teens are in their own special class and age group. Yes, many kids out of high school who decide to join the military at 18, won't do so at 20, but too bad on the military. IMO, 18 is too young to die for an asshole like Trump. In your late teens, 2 years makes a major difference in a person.
