Keno, I know you've mentioned seeing them at MSG before, but I don't think I've ever gotten a clear answer on exactly which show it was for some reason. Did the Stones even play there in '70 or '71? I know they did in '69 and '72 for sure, but I didn't think they did in between. In any case, if you saw the '72 shows then you are a lucky man indeed, and should still be in awe. The very final show on the 26th of July is one of the most legendary single gigs of all time, in Stones history as well as music history in general. MJ's birthday! They were on fire at the end of the "Touring Party" and to me most of their performances from that last week (especially Philly) are the best they ever did, period. Better than Brussels.
