Yep me too - I like the tactile feeling of owning CD's, even bought a few silvers when I was collecting boots. Likewise I prefer a hard copy book, I have read a couple on an e-reader but again I like to flip the pages. Unfortunately our library last night got closed down. I just returned a quite enjoyable Mick Fleetwood autobiography (his second?) and was due in to get another but... a couple of years ago we had a reasonably major earthquake & lots of buildings got red-stickered or at least stuck with warnings. It seems to me some self-serving "engineers" default position is that any building they inspect now is unsafe & thereby creating more work for themselves.
Bluesboy, sorry to hear your news, I always said when I bought a CD player we must as well put a hammer to our records & that was about right too. Although I agree a good vinyl system puts out a superior sound to CD's I'm now too old & lazy to clean them and look after them properly...
