I really, really lie Steel Wheels. No, its not in the top 5 or close, but when it was released in 1989 it was so fresh and exuberant, with some good rockin' sounds and some nice touches and details. I love a lot of the tracks - most of all - Almost Hear You Sigh, Slipping Away, and Mixed Emotions. I enjoy every other song on the album to one degree or another. I find recently I have enjoyed Sad Sad Sad and Terrifying more. So I might go with Terrifying as the underrated track.
Spoken words in pop music can be extremely effective when used properly. I love Barry White and he does this all time time. In the Stones context, Fingerprint File and Emotional Rescue have great spoken word sections
