Anybody else notice the auto-correct feature has been on steroids the past few weeks?
I haven't had that problem, but I'm seeing other bad things happen. I just hope this old board makes it to the very end of Gasland in Jan '18, and at this rate I don't know if it will or not.
The database is totally out of whack! That, and in turn more and more Gassers - including me - are having problems in getting our posts and replies to show up here. I believe there's a problem with the password system, but I'm not sure.
Then in another example, in one of my replies I posted last nite, it won't post the reply at all. Yet it posted replies to other threads that I made at the very same time! This was the second time this took place in the last 2 days. I found a way around it, by deleting (well cutting) all of what I wanted to post, other than the first sentence and then it posted and I just pasted back in what I had to cut via the board's admin. But that will only work for me, since I'm the only one with the admin. So maybe it has to do with the spam filter (?) where I can censor certain words. Yet so few words are censored here, and I know I didn't use any of them in my 2 reply posts that won't work. It could also be a problem where I have the text limit set on just how long a post can be... maybe.
So that's where I'll look into next when I try to solve this latest problem. But first today I got to get those 2 new poll list pages built and published that I've been planning to do for the last 2 months here and keep not getting to! But it's stuff like this as to why I'm retiring from doing this.
