I lived in AL for 4 long years, and the politicos (GOP style) were such assholes it was repulsive. Moore lost his judgeship because he put up a very large stone in front of "his" courthouse with the 10 Commandments on it. He was told to remove it, and he refused. So he lost his title. Nearly everyone I talked to about it thought it was so unfair. It was about 95% in Moore's favor. My wife and I were so happy to get out of there and to be back in TX, Austin specifically. Texas is becoming a possible "swing state" from red to blue. We have a lady on the Democrat party running for govenor who might have a good chance of winning.
Our current govenor, who is against TORT, got his money this way: His neighbor had a tree fall on him and he got $8M from that. How's that for sticking to your guns?!?
