The thing is, Alabama is so red, that last time when they had this same election, the Republican (Sessions) got 97% of the vote (that's a fact!), and this time because Trump is so hated (even in what is the deepest red state in the country) couldn't even muster 50%!
Yet the GOP turtle who controls the U.S. Senate (now just barely), flat out just announced that even with the Dems winning this race, he will not swear-in the winner of this election until next year - since they need the current unelected Republican fill in senator there now, to vote with them so Trump's give away (and hated by most) tax cut for the 1% gets passed first! Can you believe that crap? Talk about a pig's pig!
This means just one thing for sure, come next November when all of those U.S. House seats are all voted on again, the Republicans should get slaughtered big time, along with the Senate too, and Trump will lose both Houses and get nothing passed (not that the fool has gotten anything passed so far yet... but that terrible tax bill will pass if you don't speak up to your 3 reps in Congress.... So have you placed a call to them yet? I sure as shit have done this with mine, and I wrote them, too!).
