Wow, what an Alice Cooper story. Wonder if Casey Kasem had ever shared that story.
I was a huge fan of Casey Kasem's "American Top 40" that was on Sunday mornings. A couple of different times he shared stories about the group like at one particular concert, the snake that they used on every show where at some point ties itself around Alice, must have had an attitude that particular night when it tied itself a little tooo tight around the frontman --- and wouldn't loosen up!!! 😲 When the band members finally realized what was happening they dropped their instruments to help their poor singer get freed.
Another story Casey shared was when on one of the group's concerts, the crowd got so frenzied they grabbed Alice and stripped him naked. Alice said in an interview right afterwards that he likes when the audience really gets into the show like that!!!
Finally, at some point in each show Alice is let down on a rope, but one time the rope broke and Alice landed on his knees. That must've hurt!! 😱
