Yep, just like every other religious cult along with their religious leader(s).
Come to think of it, you can even drop the word "cult", and replace it with "group", and still say the same thing. Only difference is a cult usually has just one leader (but not always) while a group usually has several, and they all say, well, preach, nothing but the same boring, untrue things over and over. They all got that in common, and Charlie was nothing but a religious leader/preacher, no difference, other than religious preachers pretend to teach (while they really just brainwash) love to their followers, while Charlie preached hate to his.
