Yes, one 6 year term for president is what I've been saying for years now! Make the new prez a lame duck from the very first day he enters the White House. Yet with that said, I was always against term limits for other offices, since I felt the people already had a say in term limits when they voted out the bad apples. But I changed my mind on this - at least on the federal level anyway, but no, not for local and state elections, as term limits don't work there and cause problems in small towns and communities because of a lack of a candidates. That is happening where I live right now.
But it would work on the federal level, since no term limits hurts the average American when one state's people gets to put in the same reps and senators for years on end, while affecting negatively the the entire county - while everybody who lives elsewhere, have no say in the matter and can't vote these jerks out of office, and therefore are badly affected by them. Force term limits on them and yes, we get rid of true pigs like McConnell and Paul Rylan, and many others who have waaaaay too much power over people who can't even vote them out of office. Term limits would work in those case for sure! Imagine there's no turtle (in charge of the U.S. Senate), it's easy if you try!
