The bottom line is Islam, period. As long as that religion and their Koren is followed, every single non Muslim is in danger. Their book, which I have read, absolutely demands that they kill non believers, and they flat out name Jews, Christians, Hindus, Buddhists and Atheists in more than one section of that terrible holy book of theirs, as their enemies.
I can't see how anybody could read that book and want to become a member of that religion! They declare that women and children are inferior and be (mis)treated just like slaves to their men. Their god, Mohamad, was a pedofile - that's a fact, as one of his wives was just a preteen when he married her, I believe 8 years old - and yet that's who their main God is?! How can anybody want to be a part of that?
Yet I still believe that those of us in the U.S. would be safe if we left the ME and worked on getting our energy from right here. But instead of going the route of fracking and dirty tar sands, that we work on making solar and wind energy our main goal to energy independence - and it can happen and be a lot cheaper for all of us in the end - other than for the rich oil men who live here. But even they would adjust and make money in another field if they would just stop being so damn lazy and greedy.
The other day, the Coors Company, which is lead by right wing conservative republicans, and who were 100% against Colorado's legal marijuana laws, which they fought hard against (and lost), since they are based in Golden, CO, and were worry about their beer sales falling off if weed was legal, announced that they will now be entering the legal marijuana market since it's been working out so well for the state! Of course they now want a piece of the pie. So if those assholes can go from beer to maryjane, I'm sure then rich oil pigs can go from their dirty oil business, to clean energy like solar once they see the light too. Let the Muslims in the ME lost all of their income and see what happens to them! Yes, they still have their holy book to follow, so we will never be 100% safe from them in that sense, but if we let them be, we would be safer and I believe see no harm from them for many years/decades on down the road.
