Well, I live on the east coast and I can tell you that there is plenty of outrage when it's not a Middle Easterner. The Sandy Hook psycho was a young white boy who did the shooting and that was front page for months.
That is exactly what I had in mind when I said nothing is ever done, and the response to that was insane and totally disgusting, other than those in the state of Connecticut where it happened perhaps.
You can't just get upset over this and do nothing at all (other than just say "oops!")! Most of the children killed that day in their kindergarten classes were 5 and 6 years old! Our babies are slaughtered by a NRA trained nutjob (fact) and what did this country do to make sure such a thing never happens again? WE DID NOTHING AT ALL!!! (except a few right wing nut jobs actually had the balls to claim that it was all a hoax and never happened!) If it's okay in this country to kill our own babies with guns to protect gun owners, then we are not a country of good people at all - no we are not!
Plus I don't even want to hear about the second amendment, since the NRA has totally made most Americans not even understand what is clearly written in our constitution on guns! It doesn't say anywhere that we the people are guaranteed all the guns we want. What it clearly states is that as a military we are, not as individuals! One NRA gun owner IS NOT a military, or a "militia" (which is defined as a supplement to a regular army in an emergency). That is all that is stated in the second amendment. Yet some gun owners (not all of us) think that means you can have all the damn guns they want and don't really need. I own 2 myself and where I used to go target shooting and enjoy that, and I see nothing wrong with that (thanks to my arthritis in my hands I don't do that anymore), nor do most people. But nobody, well 98% of those of us who want gun control, don't want to ever see guns being taken away from good people and nobody has ever suggested that (other than the NRA spreads lies to it's members that this is what gun control in the U.S, will lead to when it won't). We just want the purchase of guns controlled, just like the overwhelming number of Americans want. But thanks to the 100% pure pork pigs who lead the NRA, it doesn't happen or is even discussed by our elected reps, since they are threatened by the NRA. So what we get is Sandy Hook, Columbine, Las Vegas, etc. on a regular basis now.
"Our once great country" became a great country because our fore fathers took up ARMS against the British and took over the country.
And that has absolutely nothing to do with the modern day man and the kinds of weapons that we have today.... nothing!
I don't know HOW people CAN stop what is going on.
Well I and most Americans KNOW, and those who live elsewhere know what to do! It's called gun control and it has worked great in every single European country that it has taken place in, every single one! But the sick jerks who run the NRA won't let it happen, they won't even let it be talked about. After those babies were killed at Sandy Hook and not a single thing was done after that took place, I knew this once great country was doomed when it comes to guns, and it is.
Now we got a lying election stealer in the White House who takes millions of dollars directly from the NRA and totally supports them. He made such a big deal and talked about what he was gonna do after the truck attack in NYC last week killed 8 people, that was committed by a person from the ME. But when a local from Texas or Vagas kills close to 100 people, he just sits on his little hands and does nothing. He and the NRA and those who support them, are who killed all of those people with their damn support of uncontrolled guns, and we the people too, who sit back and allow 5 years olds to be slaughtered at school by such nutjobs trained by the NRA.
