Safety laws can be instituted without infringing on the gun rights of law abiding citizens...I agree...but THEY are NOT the problem. It's the ones that want to do harm that are the problem. I don't care WHAT laws are implemented... bad guys will get guns, period.
Airports are areas that one CAN monitor with various check points...agreed.. but that's not where all this stuff is going down. Do we need metal detectors and security at churches, temples, movie theaters, bowling alleys,night clubs, etc? Yeah, we probably do! Will it ever happen? No, because it would eat into each establishments profits, sadly.
