There are all sorts on non rockers in the Hall, so why not Frank Sinatra?
Why?... Look. I know you're a fan of Sinatra's music, fine, but face the truth about that mob supported guy. First, of all of the "non rockers" in the Rock Hall, all of them influenced Rock music - every one of 'em did, and that's why they are in... But, while Sinatra not only had zero connection to the music, he flat out hated Rock music and regularly put it and all rockers down in the the late '50s into the early '60s, so he would be the last person to let into the Hall. It would be a total insult to Rock music to let him in the Rock Hall! Not only that, but knowing how much Frank hated Rock music, I bet he just turned over in his grave with that suggestion!

and he also wrote this in a magazine in the 1960s, calling rockers "goons":
