Not so sure....

Okay, Darryl's contributions are very meaningful. And I agree that making him "an official member" (whatever that is) makes no sense. No one would buy it.

But the problem is, if you elevate him somehow, then what about the many, many other hired hands who have contributed a lot? Would you say Darryl is above Bobby Keys? So while I agree Darryl is great, I see only two categories. The Rolling Stones... and their hired hands. How we choose to rank the hired hands is up to us and there is no set way to do it.
