RE: RE: Micks vocals

Agree with you on these points gomper other than I'll add in a note on this old age thing.

As far as people getting older with age, it of course depends on what age is being looked at and also the person in question and what kind of health they are in. But I think after you hit your 60s, most things do start to go downhill for most humans, be it slowly for some and faster for others. But usually when you hit your 70s, most people are retired for a reason, you don't improve with age when you're past 70.

Performers are a different story when it comes to retiring after 65 or so, most of them want to perform until they drop, and that describes the Stones 100%. Yet this band hasn't had a easy life as far as their bodies go; they all did hard drugs in their past and that isn't the road to take for living a long healthy life well into old age.

Mick will still have mainly good nights, but he's gonna have some bad ones, too, and you can blame that on his age. I recall what my friend Philip told me several years ago about Mick and the Stones and the hundreds of Stones and other rock shows he had worked in the past. Philip was a well known rock photographer and the guy who's photos I used to put together 90% of my Stones book with. He noted to me that with all those different rock shows he saw, every performer had a off night, including all of the Stones, other than one performer, that being Mick Jagger. Mick was never, ever, off. He never once had a off night, and Philip covered just about every major rock act that was big starting in the early '70s. So now in 2017, perhaps MJ will have a bad show or 2. Fine, Stones fans should just be happy that they can still go out and see him play up on stage at his age.
