Everybody hated him, and the crowd cheered loudly when someone would give him a beating.

He's was known mainly for managing bad guys, including heal AWA World Champion Nick Bochwinkel.

In 1982 defending champ Bochwinkel, managed by Heenan, lost the title to Otto Wanz (who died 4 days ago).

Here's the interesting part ~~ nobody told Bobby Heenan his guy was dropping the title that night!!! Of course the outcome of the matches are predetermined, but at least three different books claim he didn't know of this outcome! 😲 Here's the match:
